We had the best experience buying our puppy from Charity and her husband they did a amazing job of communicating and where so quick to answer all questions we have had we are so happy with our new family member Oreo he is so cute and beautiful looking you can tell they really are very passionate about raising healthy beautiful basset hounds and it shows we drove almost 6 hours to get him and it was worth it I would absolutely recommend Basket hound bassets the care they put into raising and making sure they are going into a good home is amazing.

I wouldn’t want to have gotten my basset from anyone else, Charity and Ted are literally the best. They take such great care of the puppies it gives you the upmost reassurance that your puppy is healthy and being treated with love.

My experience with Charity was excellent. The facility she has made for the puppies was obviously made with great care and knowledge of how to raise them. I am also glad to have seen the parents so that i can get an idea of Goose's future size.

Charity was so wonderful to work with! I knew I wanted to adopt from Charity when we spoke on the phone and I could see just how much time and effort she puts in to ensure each puppy is healthy, well-cared for, and socialized. She kept me in the loop when the puppies were born, sent me pictures of Penny all the time, and was always happy to hop on the phone to answer my questions.

Charity was such a wonderful resource on getting ready to welcome our new Basset to our home. She and Captain are kind, caring, and clearly are very knowledgeable and passionate about their basset hounds, and make every effort to try and ease the transition of bringing a new member of the family home. We were so blessed and fortunate to work with Charity in bringing our new family member home. I enjoyed working with Charity from the beginning, which was early this spring when we started contemplating being home another pup. Right from the start Charity was open, easy to talk to and ask questions, and made sure we had a good match for our family. We lost our five-year-old golden this year, and Charity was so patient with us throughout the process. Although we have an 8-year-old basset at home, Charity had so much knowledge and insight around our newest family member, Duke and we’re so happy to have worked with Charity!

Charity was a pleasure to work with. She is very knowledgeable and informative with the basset hound breed. The puppies basically have an all inclusive resort to themselves and you can really tell Charity cares for them. After brining our girl home she has transitioned very well and has an amazing personality. You can tell Charity spent time with the puppies preparing them for their new homes.

It was great working with Charity. I really appreciated hearing all that she does with the puppies to help them gain strength, resilience, and sociability. Her whelping house and play yard are incredible. And we are so pleased with our puppy Violet! She is very sweet and has been an excellent sister to her older basset sister, Maeve.

Charity was great to work with! Samual (now Donut) is an amazing puppy who is so sweet and training is going very well. Charity takes great pride in her work, and rightfully so. She is very knowledgeable about the breed and gives excellent pointers that makes training easier. I highly recommend.

Everything went great! Charity explained everything we need to know such as cleaning his ears, trimming his nails, and wiping him down. She also gave us a care package to get him started with.

Charity was by far one of the best breeders we have dealt with. She is responsive to question her days are gorgeous and well care for. This was one of the best interactions with a breeder we have dealt with and will definitely use her again in the future.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience with Basket Hound Bassets. Charity is the real deal and treats her dogs with such love and care. Our dog Ralph is happy, healthy, and has adjusted well to his new environment. This is in no small part to all of the hard work Charity does to expose her puppies early on to various noises, sensations, etc. Thank you Charity for trusting us to give Ralph a great life. Some of the nicest people I have met and very informative about do's and don'ts with basset hounds and has answered every single question I have had about them and I've had a blast with Harriet knowing what to do and how to take care of her. Harriet is learning so fast and already knows basic commands like sit lay down and stay and follow and roll over (when she wants to listen) and already onto off leash training at home but still working on greeting people shes too friendly and loves everyone and everything and gets really excited to see new people or animals. Definitely the bundle of joy I was looking for.

Breeder was very helpful and kept us up to date on vet trips and growth. When we arrived to pick up our beautiful puppy, we saw exactly how much care she puts into her dogs and pups. She truly loves all the dogs and it shows in all the care to be certain we went away with all the information for care of our new family member. She showed us care for how to care for the ears, gave us his schedule to follow when he came home , and a nice basket of treats for us for the ride home that included toys and puppy pads. Definitely would recommend Basket Hounds to anyone looking for a puppy.
