1. Initial Phone Interview:
The first step is to give us a call! We’ll have a friendly phone interview to get to know you, answer your questions, and make sure a Basset Hound is the right fit for your home and lifestyle. 

2. Complete the Puppy Application:
After the phone interview, you’ll be invited to complete our Puppy Application, available right here on our website. This helps us learn more about your household and what you're looking for in a puppy. A puppy will then be matched to you based on your household and lifestyle.

3. Review & Sign the Deposit Contract:
Once your application is approved, we’ll send you our Deposit Contract for review. This outlines the terms of your reservation.

4. Submit Your Deposit:
After signing the contract, you can submit your non-refundable deposit on our website to officially reserve your puppy.

5. Enroll in NuVet Supplements:
To support your puppy’s health from the start, we require all families to sign up for NuVet supplements and place their first order before pickup. These supplements help build a strong immune system during the crucial early months.

6. Review & Sign the Puppy Contract:
Next, you’ll receive the full Puppy Contract to review and sign. This agreement ensures transparency and sets expectations for care and support.

7. Schedule Pickup:
Once all paperwork is complete, we’ll coordinate with you to set a pickup date for your puppy.

8. Puppy Pickup Day:
When pickup day arrives, your puppy will go home with a special “Puppy Plus” basket filled with essentials and goodies to help with the transition into their new home.
